#FollowFriday
Twitter has a useful tradition (if somewhat annoying to some folks) called FollowFriday. People recommend each other by using what’s called a #FollowFriday or #FF ‘hashtag’. Taking a cue from my good friends online, I’ve put some of my favorite twitter connections here. I’ve also included links to my lists of excellent people to follow a little further down.
These interesting and helpful folks are well worth a follow on Twitter.
Special folks who got me started in all this social media mess
@astewart
Amy Stewart is a long time friend and exceptionally Gifted designer, able to design beautiful user interfaces, logos, websites, pretty much anything imaginable. Amy and I have worked on many many projects together and she is a joy with which to work. Amy was the one who talked me into checking out twitter and WordPress, and for that I owe her much.
@kieronjames
Kieron is one of the very first people I connected with on twitter, and he remains a close friend to this day. Kieron is a composer and amazing percussionist, online record label mogul, and all ‘round amazing and supportive individual. Through Kieron I was introduced and connected to an unbelievable array of musicians and sound designers that love what they do and are very good at it.
@pure_tone
Tony Tewes is a good friend and an outstanding audio Mastering Engineer. He is an absolute craftsman at what he does. Tony can make your compositions sparkle with a clarity you would not think possible. And he’s also a great human being.
@ambienteer
James is an experimental ambient music producer who makes really lovely and interesting compositions by stretching, bending, and blending sounds. Another excellent human.
@fjfonseca
Fernando Fonseca is an another amazing and interesting individual. I met him through Kieron. Fernando is a sound designer and digital artist, among his other many talents. Lately I’ve been blown away by the videos that he’s been creating to accompany the various artists on his virtual music label Public Spaces Labs (@PublicSpacesLab). FonsecaVision! ;o)
