This is another little game that we did for the Footaction web site.
Shane Bingham did the interface design and the graphics. I did the programming. This is a hybrid Director/Flash game. I had to use a mix, because in earlier versions of Flash, it was impossible to detect input from the keyboard.
This is called Advergaming and it’s a hot trend. It allows the client to expose their branding to customers and potential customers in an unobtrusive and ambient way. Very effective marketing.
The object of the game use the arrow keys on your keyboard to dribble the basketball thru the maze and to the hoop. Try it out for yourself right now, but ya gotta be quick!
This is an old game, done long ago, and will require the Adobe Shockwave plugin, as opposed to the Flash plugin, if you to play the game. It should prompt you if you don’t have it installed, but just in case, here’s the link where you can get the player.
